NON-CONTACT VISITATION
A non-contact visitation defines the interaction between two people on either side of a physical obstacle. You can see but you can’t touch. You want to hold them up but you’re not allowed to. Much like the withering leaves of the once glorious flowers, people decay under captivity. The colours are there, yet they’re not as bright as they once were. The parts that touch the glass rot the most as if they are the most aware of the limitations. The “good” for some dictates the necessity to house the plants away from their nature and those who dare to look away from the main show see the spectacle for what it is.
